After training at a large Magic Circle law firm and a leading IP boutique firm, Christina Klahm joined lexTM in 2019 – driven by the desire to advance a small but powerful IP law firm. Since then, she has decisively shaped important mandates with tenacity, good judgement and team spirit. Two successful trademark proceedings (“Malle für Alle” – successful defence of the defendant before the Düsseldorf Regional Court; “Torjägerkanone” – successful representation of all defendants) were particularly well received. As a specialist lawyer in intellectual property law, Christina Klahm has particular expertise in competition law, trade mark law and litigation.

As a specialist in intellectual property law, Christina Klahm is primarily active in trade mark law, competition law and design law, where she conducts both official proceedings (in particular before the DPMA and the EUIPO) and infringement proceedings. Thanks to her passion for organising large knowledge resources, she has particular expertise in the collection and management of large amounts of material, as is often the case in long-standing and widely ramified proceedings.

MY MOTIVATION

I am fascinated by the variety of challenges that I encounter when representing clients in court. My aim is not only to provide solid legal work, but also to understand the client’s commercial or human mindset and to have all the key details of the matter at hand. Representation of a patent holder in the field of screed pumps in patent litigation before the Regional Court and the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt (currently still pending).

Representation of a HR services company in trademark litigation before the Frankfurt Regional Court and the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court. In the second instance, the judgment of the Frankfurt Regional Court dismissing the action in its entirety was corrected and the client’s claims were enforced.

Successful representation of an engineering firm in a case concerning know-how protection for Kaplan turbines before the Regional Court of Memmingen.

Successful representation of a market-leading manufacturer of industrial furnaces in several competition proceedings concerning the application of replica furnaces (together with C. Klahm).

Representation of a market-leading manufacturer of industrial furnaces in two patent infringement proceedings and one patent infringement proceeding before the Düsseldorf District Court (currently still pending).

Constant advice and representation of a number of German universities, inter alia in trademark matters, press matters, design matters and infringements of (corporate) personal rights.
